Post 8 - February 28

 This was a tough week at work.  I felt so disrespected by two students.  I feel so let down by my admin team.  I have an assignment due on Sunday that I do NOT want to do.  I have papers to grade.  I know it will get done but I am drained.  But I got to eat dinner with some colleagues turned friends.  We all groused.  It's hard to believe that these friends...I met them before I had Mary and Connor!  We were out celebrating a friend's 50th birthday.  Also, this weekend...there are no games...there are no plans...a break.  

Post 7 - February 22, 2025

 Well it has been A WEEK!  I had Monday off for President's Day - YAY!  Tuesday and Wednesday were totally normal.  Went to bed fine on Wednesday night...woke up at 12:30 so so so so sick.  Went to sleep on the couch.  Fell back to sleep.  Woke up at 3:30 absolutely freezing.  I was shaking so bad I started to have a panic attack.  Called Tom down.  Went to bed with him so he could hold me so I would stop shaking.  Stayed under the comforter and two additional blankets the rest of the night and the whole next day.  Missed Mary's game.  Friday was better but still did very little.  Watched TJ play an amazing game!  Saturday saw much improvement, went to Mary's game.  Watched TJ play a game - beat Purdue!  Champs tomorrow!  Mary has a game too!  Field trip Monday!  Still to do...laundry and grocery shopping...

Post 6 - February 14, 2025

 Happy Valentine's Day! Much love to all!

Took the kids to school and then did some classwork.  Spent a majority of the day with my 90 year old Auntie Faithie.  I love my days with her.  She's so easy to talk to.  Feel badly that I haven't seen her since last June.  Strive to do better!

Missing TJ.  Feel badly that I didn't get anything for the kids to celebrate.  Will have ice cream for dinner!

Have an assignment to get to!

Post 5 - February 8, 2025

 Sitting in rink #2 for the weekend. Drove down to Indy last night to watch TJ's team play.  He didn't play but we had nice talks while we watched from the glass.  They won 8-7.  Drove down to Btown and had lunch with him before we dropped him at his home rink.  I did do some school reading on the way down last night and this morning.  Have been doing classwork in the lobby.  He's playing today.  Please God let him get a goal today!  Glad to be spending time with the family.  

Post 4 - February 5, 2025

 I took a personal day yesterday.  New washer installed.  Phone call with advisor completed.  All of my coursework completed.  Care package packing party a success.  Got a great night's sleep!  Had a great day at work!  Getting started on next week's coursework.  Tomorrow is Hundred's Day!  Get to see TJ on Friday and Saturday!  Feeling good!

Post 3 - February 2, 2025

 Sitting in one hockey rink, waiting for daughter's game to begin, while watching son's game online.  Organizing my research for a paper that is due TONIGHT!  Laundry's done, grocery shopping is not.  It'll all get done, no need to worry or fret :)
